BrickFest was the first convention designed specifically for and by AFOLs in the United States. The simple goal: to bring a small (at the time) online community together under one roof to share their MOCs (My Own Creations), building ideas, and techniques.

The event was first announced in March of 2000 with a post to Lugnet. As the event grew we decided to open the doors to the public for a few short hours so that our great fan creations could be shared with a larger audience and inspire future builders and enthusiasts.

BrickFest inspired more then just buildings. Today there are numerous Events throughout the country and across the world.
