Entrants should bring their completed models to BrickFest 2005 on Friday August 12 for display through Sunday, August 14. A photograph of the model will be taken, which will become the property of LEGO Systems, Inc. with usage rights granted to AMH Productions (aka BrickFest). Multiple entries are permitted; however, each entry must be different. Models must be constructed by one (1) person only and entries must be submitted in the name of the person who built them. Group entries are not permitted. JUDGING: Onsite judging and announcement of Grand Prize winner will take place on Sunday, August 14. All entries will be judged by a committee comprised of a LEGO Group executive, a LEGO Ambassador, an executive from the National Trust for Historic Preservation and the Graham Gund architect from the National Trust. All entries will be judged on the basis of: engineering/construction/ detail of design (40%), originality (20%) and creative use of LEGO components (40%). Entries that incorporate specific design elements in LEGO form (Palladian Windows, Neoclassical columns, Prairie Style roofs, etc.) will be considered for special recognition, but these inclusions will not increase your chances of winning. All decisions by the judges will be considered final.
